About Us
Welcome 2 Wed Ceremonies: Deb O’Dell & Deborah Vaughn are seasoned wedding professionals with years of experience. Their cheerful, laid-back personalities have allowed them to work with amazing couples performing hundreds of weddings and earning 5-star Reviews in the event industry.
Deb O’Dell is a minister, a seasoned wedding officiant & notable spiritual advisor; keynote speaker. 16 years ago, she turned her focus to bringing something a bit different to the wedding ministry, and Welcome2Wed was born.
Deborah Vaughn is an ordained minister; she is a seasoned wedding officiant and a locally renowned spiritual advisor. Deborah originally from Bringing Love Together formally joined the W2WC team a few years ago. What a blessing it has been to have her with the team.
The Welcome 2 Wed team wants couples to continue to have more input into structuring their ceremony. They have developed a ceremony planning packet giving couples the opportunity to review various ceremony types, including each section of a wedding ceremony focusing on the couple's vision.
After all it is a couple's big day!
Your ceremony is when the adventure begins, the wedding is a time where you stand before those most important to you and make a promise to be committed to one another and to work together as partners in life. We believe that the more personal you make your ceremony, the more memorable it will be for you and your guests.
Welcome 2 Wed Ceremonies' mission is to ensure the ceremony planning process is as stress-free as possible by offering guidance and assistance along with our custom planning packets. We encourage our couples to remember that with so much to consider in planning all the details, ultimately, this is their big day and we understand and respect our couples’ vision; we work with them to ensure they get the ceremony that represents them as individuals and as a couple, including their traditions and anecdotes in making a memorable day.

Wedding planning is an exciting but sometimes stressful time, and many couples are unsure where to begin. To help ease this anxiety, we are happy to provide guidance, resources, and information. We offer a list of recommended wedding professionals, a custom ceremony planning resource packet, structured rehearsal coordination, and a detailed ceremony itinerary.
Reserving Your Wedding
Please submit the contact form below with a few details about your event, or you can email us directly. We will check our availability and arrange a time to discuss your ceremony. During our consultation, we will walk you through our ceremony planning guide, review the ceremony elements, and offer recommendations. We will also complete a ceremony vision questionnaire with you and provide a formal quote for our services. To reserve your event, a reservation agreement and a retainer are required to secure the time and date for your wedding.
Wedding Day Ceremony
We will arrive 20 to 30 minutes before your ceremony. Upon arrival, we will connect with you and the bridal party, review any last-minute ceremony details, and coordinate with your other wedding professionals, such as the DJ, musicians, and photographer. If you do not have a ceremony coordinator, we are available to take on that responsibility to coordinate the details of the processional and the ceremony.
Marriage License Information
This is a reminder regarding your marriage license requirements.
Please note that you are responsible for applying for and obtaining a valid marriage license from the appropriate jurisdiction, such as your residential county clerk of courts or the county where the ceremony will be performed. You must provide this license to me to review and execute either at the rehearsal or prior to the ceremony. Please be advised that I cannot perform the wedding ceremony without receiving the valid marriage license beforehand.
If you have any questions or are uncertain about the process, please contact your local county clerk of courts for further details, as I do not work for or have a contractual relationship with any county clerk office.

Service Package Information
Simple Signing/Minimony by appointment
The minimalist approach -having that destination wedding and/or formal ceremony celebration later, meet us at the local coffee shop/restaurant for a legality only signing of your marriage license - no ceremony- the simplest form of making it legal we can do. We’ll meet up, sign the license and ask if you take each other to be your spouse, you say we do, fill out a brief contact “I DO” form and Our officiants review the marriage license documents and sign off on the document, then return the copy for framing or wedding book to the couple and we will submit the legal documentation to the clerk of court on record. Location & Travel: The final rate is determined by your specific requested location, date, and time. Higher rates may apply for events outside of our 15-mile local radius.
Civil/Simply Service
Couple intimate ceremony or maybe 6 -10 guests. The couple completes a brief reservation & questionnaire and once we have a base ceremony vision, we can prepare and officiate a memorable ceremony. To include completion of marriage license documentation, submitting to clerk of court via mail. We have a list of smaller event locations to include free local park to small fee venues. Location & Travel: The final rate is determined by your specific requested location, date, and time. Higher rates may apply for events outside of our 15-mile local radius.
Peak Rates: Higher rates may apply for weekends and holidays.

Private Small Ceremony Service
If you want to keep your wedding simple to semi-formal but have a few more guests join in for a personalized, custom ceremony, this package is for you. Once you complete our reservation and ceremony vision questionnaire, we will provide a few base ceremony options to choose from and customize as you wish. This package includes the completion of marriage license documentation and submission to the clerk of court to process your certified copies. We can also provide a list of smaller event locations, ranging from free local parks to paid venues.
Please note that the final rate is determined by your specific location, date, and time. Higher rates may apply for weekends, holidays, and events outside of our 15-mile local radius. We encourage every couple to meet with us in person to ensure you are comfortable with your officiant choice, though we also offer phone and Zoom consultations. W2W Semi Formal Service
Semi-Formal package. If you have already found the perfect venue, we are here to help you create a memorable ceremony that reflects your individuality, traditions, and who you are as a couple. To get started, we ask that you complete a consultation reservation and our ceremony vision questionnaire. Once we have established a base vision, we will provide a custom ceremony planning packet for you to choose from and customize as you wish.
Please note that an in-person rehearsal is not included in this package. If necessary, we will determine whether an onsite rehearsal, a Zoom/phone consultation, or coordination with your wedding planner or venue coordinator is best. We will also handle the completion and submission of your marriage license documentation to the clerk of court so you can receive your certified copies. Our final rate is determined by your specific location, date, and time. Higher rates may apply for weekends, holidays, and events outside of our 15-mile local radius.
Rehearsal – Add On- from $100. We can coordinate or just be present for the ceremony logistics for your rehearsal This is an additional fee to full-service option above. We do have a Rehearsal Guide for our couples review.

Her service is top-notched in caring for her client’s best interest in fulfilling your dreams come true, in saying "I Do". Deb has an excellent form to critique your once in a lifetime celebration. Excellent follow-up. Took photos shortly afterwards. We were threatened with storms for the day, but as always - God made away and saved the day! Thank you for being a part of this memorable celebration of life. Highly recommended for those in need.

Rev. Deb O’Dell was great and I would recommend! We decided to use her for our wedding when she married my sister and brother-in-law.
Deborah V officiated my wedding and did an amazing job. She made my husband and I feel completely comfortable and took her time when we were crying during the ceremony. She laughed with us and at times even made us laugh during the ceremony. I would highly recommend Deborah to anyone looking for an officiant.
She is very organized and has a lot of different options and suggestions depending on what type of ceremony you’re looking for. The ceremony can be very customized to what you are looking for. We did a mix of traditional and religious and loved the end result. - The day of the wedding she was on time and we loved our ceremony!

Absolutely Amazing
We are so thankful for Deb & John O’Dell! They were amazing from rescheduling the wedding because of covid-19 shutdown, to the day of the new date, and everything in between. Contacting them was super easy I had many ways to do so via phone, Facebook, and Gmail (Very Responsive) and a Zoom meeting 3 or so days before the wedding. The day of the wedding John was very professional, dressed up in a very nice suit and tie, and his words flowed like butter. Everything was very smooth and transitions throughout the wedding ceremony were flawless. After the wedding and as pictures were being taken John came down to say goodbye and took a few images with us and for that I am great full. Not only did we get everything we asked for, they made the whole process easy and for that we are blessed to have worked with them!
